About the Founder
Michael Neu is the founder and president of K-9 Friendly Visitors, a not-for-profit organization providing beneficial services to the deaf, hard of hearing, disabled and special needs students, with his certified therapy service and Canine Good Citizenship Dogs.
Prior to Michael’s volunteerism, he was the CEO of a large corporate communications company in Chicago, working with Fortune 100 companies. He has degrees in Education, Art and Psychology. Michael is married to Karen L Meyer, who is profoundly deaf and the only disabled reporter in America reporting on disabilities. Michael and his wife have many years serving the disabled and special needs community.
